The purpose of health screening is mostly to know how healthy your body is, and if it isn’t healthy how you can make it healthy, and also what diet is the best for your body and health. Basically health screening is to measure your healthiness.
Bmi, Blood pressure, Heart rate and skin fold.
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a simple index of weight-for-height that is commonly used to classify underweight, overweight and obesity in adults. It is defined as the weight in kilograms divided by the square of the height in metres (kg/m2).
It is the speed of the heartbeat measured by the number of pounding of the heart per unit of time — typically beats per minute (bpm).
It is the pressure of the blood in the circulatory system, often measured for diagnosis since it is closely related to the force and rate of the heartbeat and the diameter and elasticity of the arterial walls.
a fold of skin and underlying fat formed by pinching, the thickness of which is a measure of nutritional status.
I prefer using blood taking in the hospital, because it is more accurate in measuring health (in my opinion). To measure your blood pressure, make sure you eat something about an hour before it for two reasons, the first is in order for it not to be too low, the second reason is not to lose your balance because it weakens your body once you are done. First, you go to the hospital, then, blood will be taken from you and will be measured by a machine and you will know how your health is from the doctor or a nurse. It is used to measure the glucose in the body. The advantage of blood pressure is that you can know how healthy your body is and what is needed for it to be healthy if it’s not, what is the balanced diet which is going to be the best for it. The disadvantage is that it can be inaccurate because people might have eaten a lot of glucose before measuring it so it gets wrong.
